Plain language, across everything
Ask the way you would ask a colleague. One question reaches the documents, the email and the systems that are connected, rather than one folder at a time.
Citations by default
Every answer traces to documents, at the version that was current when the answer was given. An answer with nothing behind it is not an answer.
Abstention
When the memory doesn't hold the answer, it says so, and names what would settle it. It does not fill the gap with something plausible.
People see what they are entitled to see
Permissions are enforced per question, against the systems the documents came from. A contract someone cannot open does not become readable because they asked about it in a different window, and answers are assembled only from what that person could already reach.
Where it lives
In the systems people already have open. Nobody has to remember to visit a new tab to get an answer they need while reading an email.
Where it connects →Ask is where most teams start, because nothing can go wrong while you are only asking.
